This article describes four perspective ways of the GIS INTEGRO development: interaction with databases, script language embedding, ArcMap projects import and work with raw data. For each way of the development authors describe the difficulties, methods to overcome them and approximate list of jobs to perform.

… »
The main aspects of methodological and technological principles for the implementation of the GIS-application for the quantitative assessment of hydrocarbon resources of the Russian Federation are considered in the article (desktop application in the GIS INTEGRO and its web showcase). Then we present the main features of the analytical and geoinformation support, including database and possibilities of the GIS-application for the implementation of the project.
New tools for state geological map design in GIS INTEGRO.

The paper reviews recent tools of the GIS INTEGRO aimed to simplify and accelerate the process of creating and preparing maps for publishing. It describes new possibilities for generating the cartographic basis of maps, styling, editing the layout of the map, as well as some aspects of creating mineralogenic and mineral maps. The paper notes that the GIS INTEGRO tools allow you to create sets of GK 200/2 and 1000/3 maps in accordance with the standards of VSEGEI.
New methods for solving forward problem of geopotential fields onprofiles.
Mitsyn S.V.
… »
The article reviews frequently used method for forward problem solving of geopotential fields on profiles, which consists of direct reinterpretation of a profile as a 2D or 2.5D model and solving the respective problem. Some deficiencies of this method that are explained by method not taking into account a curvature of a profile are demonstrated on several examples. Two new methods are presented with their own pros and cons. The former method consists of problem reduction to a two dimensional one, but unlike the previous method a profile curvature is taken into account through the procedure of physical parameter projection. The latter method is based on 3D grid model construction through extrapolation of profile models.
3D Modeling of structural maps based on supporting surfaces according to profile data.
Biserkin I.A., Lyubarev I.A., Bolshakov E.M.
… »
The article describes the GIS INTEGRO tool created for modeling an interconnected set of structural maps using a rare system of profiles supported by a base surface. The article also discribes the technology and algorithms for solving the problem. As a special case, there is a modeling of a set of surfaces. They were identified by data of the central part of the Yenisei-Khatanga down fold.
Geoinformation supplying of transboundary cooperation in the Baikal region as exemlified from assessment of hazardous geomorphological processes.
Kuzmin S.B., Lopatkin D.A.

The Baikal Region includes the subjects of the Russian Federation in southern Siberia, certain areas of the Republic of Mongolia within the boundaries of the Lake Baikal Basin and for 500 km bordering with territory of the People’s Republic of Chinaso it is a transboundary territory. Large-scale active modern geomorphological geodynamic processes that form the main morphological image of the territory have been widely developed in the Baikal Region,. During its economic development, these processes actively affect the production infrastructure and the person, creating specific threats and causing the risk of environmental management, for the reduction of which it is necessary to carry out both special preventive protective measures and costly rehabilitation works. In this regard, the geoecological zoning and the difference in the target orientation become more topical. In this case, zoning acts as a basis for searching for the optimal mode of functioning of natural and man-made systems, to reduce the risk of causing irreversible negative changes in them. One of the types of geoecological zoning is our proposed approach to creating maps of ecological-geomorphological zoning, where areas with different levels of development and composition of hazardous geomorphological processes, with different economic specializations are distinguished. The assessment of hazardous geomorphological processes of the Baikal Region was carried out on the basis of the author’s method of ecological-geomorphological zoning. The zoning is based on: 1) regularities of the spatial distribution of geomorphological processes that have a negative impact on the economy and the social sphere;
2) the territorial organization of the economy, the system of regional, inter-and intrastate territorial production relations; 3) prospects for the socio-economic development of the regions, as well as hazardous geomorphological processes, which as a result of this can be activated or re-emerge. Conducted research is aimed at improving the state system of dealing with natural and man-made emergencies, optimizing intrastate contacts in the field of modernization and developing new methods for preventing and predicting natural disasters and catastrophes.
To the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. Geology: in creation and wars
Kozlovsky E.A.

In 2020, the whole world celebrates the greatest event – the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union and coalition countries in the Great Patriotic War – a war in which millions of soldiers and innocent victims of a fascist adventure were killed. Historians (once again!) will chronologically state the facts, explain the essence and meaning of this gigantic event. After all, World War II was not only a battle between the fighting armies, but also a fierce struggle between the economies of the warring parties. Unfortunately, not only positive emotions accompany memories. There is a visible process of rewriting the history of the Great War. One gets the impression that a united front is being created to denigrate and falsify the heroic past of our country, to review the results of the Great Patriotic War. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, we must remember that geologists – prospectors of the subsoil did everything possible to ensure the development of the economy along the entire path of development of the State. It is necessary to know and use it at a new stage in the development of the country!
