AbstractAbout the AuthorsReferences
The article examines approaches to the construction and interpretation of Sustainable Noospheric Development (SND) indices using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) on the example of the regions of the Russian Federation. The SND index is formed on the basis of five indices reflecting the level of economic greening, environmental conformity, demographic viability, as well as the creative and productive potential of society. The use of normalized indicators ensures comparability between regions and reveals spatial imbalances in their development. GIS applications allow not only the visualization of results but also spatial analysis by integrating social, economic, and environmental data. The study highlights the relationship between the SND index and the quality of life of the population, enabling it to be considered as an extended indicator of well-being that incorporates ecological and innovative factors. The results obtained may serve as the basis for developing a system of comprehensive monitoring of quality of life and sustainable development, providing a strategic planning and management tool at the federal and regional levels. The results can be used for spatial development and quality of life management in regions with separate economic specialization (agricultural regions, etc.).
