AbstractAbout the AuthorsReferences
The article proposes a variant of mathematical modeling of processes that occur with oil that has fallen into the sea. Equations are given that describe the advective-diffusion propagation of an oil slick, as well as models that take into account evaporation, dissolution and biodegradation of oil. All models are integrated into the Cardinal and ADIOS2 software systems used in the research. The study uses the example of an oil spill in Saudi Arabia, given an instantaneous spill of 10 tons. With the assignment of hydrometeorological parameters, a one-day forecast is made for the spread of an oil slick in the Red Sea.
